Compare Dsl Prices

To get a better picture of DSL prices one must compare DSL prices along with services provided. Some DSL providers may have a great price but only provide a minimum of services for that price. Introductory offers may look enticing but sometimes the latter stages of one of these DSL contracts make you pay dearly.

One well known provider of high speed DSL is Earthlink. Presently Earthlink has an exceptional introductory offer of an extremely high speed connection (60Mbps) at just $12.95 per month for the first three months. The contract is for one year and there is a cancellation fee of $149.95 if the service is cancelled during months two through twelve.

Another well known internet provider of DSL is AT&T. This provider is offering their basic DSL package free for the first three months. This is a savings of $19.95 per month but it is their slowest DSL speed offered. AT&T has three higher speed DSL packages which range from $25 to $35 and offer a $19.95 bill credit for the first three months.

Verizon is offering virtually all of their DSL packages free for the first three months. These specials are offered to new customers only and a contract is also required. The regular prices that are charged after the promotional period are $17.99, $29.99 and $39.99 and are respective to DSL speed.

Qwest is another well known DSL service but is not always available to as many as the other three. Presently they offer three different packages ranging from $14.99 to $35.00. There are no present introductory offers.

High speed internet is also offered by many cable TV providers. Just to name two of these are Comcast and Time Warner. The speed difference between cable and DSL is not a huge issue but DSL speeds can be a little faster. High speed cable is priced comparably at between $19.99 and $40.00.
